Current openings in Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball and Tennis. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until filled. Basic Function and Responsibility: This administrative position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in planning and administering all aspects of a Division I athletic program which includes coaching, recruiting, budget management, public relations, compliance with NCAA regulations. Special Notes: This position, during the course of employment, will be involved in the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults, or children under the age of 16; as well as responsibility for the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value. Successful candidate will be required to pass a background check prior to beginning employment. Travel may be required a minimum of fifteen (15) nights per year for team competition and/or recruiting. Additionally, successful candidate must pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test for off-campus recruiting within 30 days of employment and annually thereafter. Rules Compliance: Rules compliance is an important responsibility of this position. Employee shall support and comply with all applicable rules and regulations of the NCAA, the Big Sky Conference, and other established bodies that govern intercollegiate athletics and the University. In the event the Employee becomes aware, or has reasonable cause to believe, that violations of rules compliance may have taken place, Employee shall report same promptly to the Athletic Director, Compliance Coordinator, or his/her designee.
