Carnegie Mellon University Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
Carnegie Mellon University is currently seeking applicants for a full-time assistant coach in its NCAA Division III men's basketball program, which is a member of the University Athletic Association. Responsibilities for this 10-month position include recruitment of potential student-athletes, practice and game planning, and assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program. Additional responsibilities include supervision of the basketball strength and conditioning program, scouting and video editing, home event management and other assigned administrative duties, as well as teaching in the physical education program.
Qualifications: Masters Degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required with 2 ' 3 years collegiate coaching experience. This position is a full-time 10-month appointment. Starting date is August 15, 2008. Salary commensurate with experience plus an excellent benefit package including tuition remission.
