The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Athletics seeks a highly qualified Head Coach of Men's/Women's Tennis who is responsible for all aspects of the program under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics. Specific duties include: recruiting student athletes; providing day-to-day coaching and out of season training; scheduling matches; organizing alumni development, public relations, and fundraising; supervising full-time Assistant Coach; managing the budget; and performing other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. Position includes full University benefits package.
NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree and successful coaching experience on the collegiate level or equivalent. Must have the ability to recruit highly competitive Division I level student athletes. Must be able to adhere to NCAA, UMBC and America East Conference rules and regulations. Candidate should be able to work together with academic support, sports communications, strength and conditioning, sports medicine, and sport administration staff, as well as have the ability to continue the growth of our highly successful tennis program. |
